Evidente che Halmosi ha fatto incetta delle avanguardie e ne ha vissuto le apoteosi, le intemperanze e gli sfilacciamenti, anche se adesso ha stemperato le sue esigenze di enigmi affidati interamente alla parola ed è entrato in uno spazio aperto, tutto personale, in cui le immagini hanno bisogno di trovare essenze irrorate di analogie non più snaturanti, ma dense di ritmo e di calore, ricche di pathos, pronte a tradire la logica, anzi a dissuaderla dalla sua occupazione. Una bella svolta, ma il suo verso non ha perduto l’incandescenza primordiale, la capacità di captare il delirio delle sillabe, il desiderio della parola di diventare mondo assoluto. Naturalmente il “maledettismo” gli è rimasto dentro; le abbuffate di Gregory Corso, di Ferlinghetti, di Bukowski ancora cercano la digestione per stemperarsi e costringere le immagini a trovare un assetto loquace fuori dalla improvvisazione, altrimenti come spiegare l’accanito citazionismo che va da Eliot a Rimbaud, da Verlaine a Suskind, da Voltaire e Joszef Attila a Bulgakov, ad Andersen, ai Grimm, a Pessoa? Tuttavia Halmosi riesce a trovare una sua voce che si fa strada fuori dal coro, “Attraverso la tenerezza del corpo. / Come tessuto dello spirito”, perché “Il diavolo non dorme. / Non può”. Non solo, come ogni diavolo si diverte a invertire la rotta dei significati, a squarciare i nessi, a scomporre la sintassi e a rompere la linearità d’ogni discorso, in modo da rendere la realtà un cerchio infernale nel quale scorgere la sintesi della vita, della morte e dell’amore. Si avverte, sotto la filigrana espressiva, che il poeta ha una sana tendenza al lirismo e che però lo ha subito come una peste da cui bisogna allontanarsi e perciò è necessario rompere gli schemi, tralasciare “i concetti barocchi”, immergersi nel caos linguistico facendo divergere ogni possibilità di accordi. Come a dire che tutto deve andare a finire al macero da cui poi pescare lacerti, bagliori, cenere di un incanto perduto e che non bisogna sospirare, perché la salvezza deve essere un guadagno che arriva dalla distruzione.
