Se, mi chiedessero: Ma cos’è esattamente un “taccuino d’artista” ovvero un “Artist Notebook”?Potrei rispondere che per me il “taccuino d’artista” è tante cose: non solo e non più un diario, non sempre e non ancora un libro d’artista, non solo un insieme d’idee o una “poesia visiva”, qualcosa di più di un “Carnet de voyage” o di uno “Cahier” delle intenzioni, poi potrei dire che è una lavagna magica di memoria e di desiderio e un feticcio artistico, ma che è soprattutto: una grammatica di icone, segni e scritture, la genesi inconscia di un fondamentale e nuovo medium comunicativo, un’azione creativa e un libro di sogni, un esercizio di libertà, creatività e d’ intimità con il mondo.
