An original and unprecedented Graphic Novel, presenting great biblical epics, through the art of Michelangelo, Raphael, Botticelli, Rembrandt, Doré, Tissot and many others. Thanks to these ‘detractors’ of the Second Commandment, we can read, in this book, the epic and fascinating stories told in The Five Books of Moses.
The artworks have been digitally enhanced, cropped, contrasted and merged. The work does not seek to show details of the original artwork, techniques or other peculiarities of the artwork. It also does not intend to show the complete Pentateuch, but rather a comic book inspired by the most relevant chapters, presented without religious or evangelical intentions.
The proposal of ‘The Torah ~ Arts & Comics’ is to entertain, through a fun Graphic Novel with action, adventure, romance, drama, art, culture and faith.
