Shingo Susa è uno
studente delle superiori. Invitato da Sayuri Yukishiro, suo storico amore delle
medie, entra nel club scolastico del sovrannaturale. Qui fa la conoscenza di
Rei Uryu, giovane in perenne contrasto con la bella Chigusa Mitsurugi, capo del
club. Un giorno, su una collina nascosta Sayuri fa sapere a Shingo che vorrebbe
tanto che lui la sposasse dopo essersi laureato. Tuttavia una banda di teppisti
irrompe rovinando il momento felice dei due ragazzi. Susa viene picchiato
brutalmente e Sayuri, violentata. Rei Uryu riesce fortunatamente a intervenire
per trarli in salvo ma Sayuri dopo quanto accaduto decide di allontanarsi per
sempre da Shingo. Ciò è la causa principale dell' attivazione dei prodigiosi
poteri sovrannaturali del ragazzo.
