“Gallery 71, established in 1994 and now going into its fifteenth year, is located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan at 71st Street. The primary focus of the gallery since it’s opening has been on works of art depicting New York City with all of its wonderful buildings and historical landmarks. Central Park has been the subject of two of our main artists; Marion Welch - watercolor, and Harold Altman - Lithography. The artists depicting New York include: Frederick Mershimer, Marion Welch, Lynn Shaler, Harold Altman, Alexander Befelein, Carole Teller, Martin Lewis, John Sloan, Armin Landeck, Mathieux Marie, Art Werger, Takuji Kubo and Thomas Barbey.
