Our Team...
Brandon Miniman (Editor in Chief) - Brandon is a graduate from the Villanova School of
Business, located near Philadelphia,
PA. He manages pocketnow's
fantastic team of writers to bring valuable smartphone and Windows Mobile
content to the readership. He spends his free time cooking, playing piano and
drums, and reading non-fiction. He's so obsessed with technology that he once
entered a candle store and asked if they had a "new electronics"
scent. They didn't.
Jaime Rivera (Creative Editor) - Jaime is our
proud Latin American import from sunny San
Pedro Sula, Honduras.
He has 10 years of management experience in the Airline business and continues
his knowledge pursuit in the Honduran Technological University (UTH). He became
a mobile device fan after he learned that his first iPAQ 3630 could keep him
tuned into the many things he’s passionate about; some being God through his Bible
studies, reading, music, and aviation. Six years and lots of devices later, his
“toys” have become a key tool in helping him stretch his time between his love
for the Air, his commitment to keeping our colossal review record growing with
even more cutting edge content, significant traveling, and his bright eight
year old son.
Adam Z. Lein (Senior Editor) - Adam has had
interests in combining technology with art since his first use of a Koala pad
on an Apple computer. Adam currently works as a graphic designer, photographer,
systems administrator and web developer at a small design firm in Westchester, NY.
His work has seen numerous awards as well as mention in books and magazines.
His love of technology extends to software development companies who have often
implemented his ideas for usability and feature enhancements. Mobile computing
has become a necessity for Adam since his first Uniden UniPro PC100 Palm-size
PC.
Anton D. Nagy (Senior Editor) - Anton comes from Oradea, Romania
and he is a Microsoft Windows Mobile MVP. He finished Law-school and has a
Master's degree in Law but he currently works in foreign trade and
international commerce in his everyday's life. His first contact with the
Windows Mobile platform was with his first Smart device, the HTC Trinity. In
his spare time he likes listening to music, watching movies, taking photos,
shooting videos, reading and airplane modeling.
Daniel Webster (Contributing Editor) - Daniel
resides near the Seattle
metropolitan area. Being so close to some of worlds the largest technology
corporations has definitely made an impact in his life. He began using Windows
Mobile devices back in high school. His journalism teacher won a contest and
every student in his class was given an iPAQ. Soon after he began hacking
cellular Windows Mobile devices. Bill Gates stated back in the late 1990’s to
be employed in two industries; healthcare and mobility technology. Daniel has
taken it to heart by working in emergency medicine, hacking Windows Mobile
devices, and perusing higher education. His free time is usually spent with his
family and friends, at the gym, hiking in the Cascade and Olympic
mountains, watching movies, or relaxing with a good book while the
rain falls.
CJ Lippstreu (Contributing Editor)
Stephen Skarlatos (Contributing Editor) - Stephen
has over 25 years of software development experience. In the 1990’s, he led a research &
development group which implemented the first ODBC driver solution for Unisys
Mainframes. In 2006, he started A&S

small and medium sized businesses. He has been using Windows CE devices since
version 1.1. His PDAs have included the
Philips Nino, the Compaq Aero, the Compaq iPAQ, the T-Mobile XDA, the HP hw6315,
the T-Mobile MDA, and the T-Mobile Wing.
