“Bombay
Palace "The Culinary Ambassador
of India" invites you to discover a rich culinary heritage that has
developed throughout the centuries in India. Chefs at Bombay Palace
are recreating the myriad cuisines of this vast, sprawling nation. India is a huge
hodgepodge of culinary styles, each with its own distinctive spices, herbs,
ingredients, and techniques, many of which are evident in our efforts. Dishes
can contain a blend of 20, 30, 40, or more spices and herbs.
The lavish dining room is decorated with
spacious banquettes, a three-tier Czech crystal chandelier and plush Scottish
wool carpeting. As in a palace, portraits of royal personages line the walls.
Brass fixtures, imported from Muradabad, the brass capital of India, further
enhance the majestic room. The intricacy of the glass etchings featuring
palaces, temples, mosques, and gurudwaras, highlight Bombay
Palace's commitment to capturing the
essence of India's
colorful culture.
The exquisite architectural and decorative
details of the restaurant create the ambiance of a Maharaja's Palace. Beautiful
portraits of royalty are displayed in the dining room, and the walls are
ladened with detailed brasswork and intricate glass etchings. The crystal
chandelier and carpet woven in Indian designs adds to the regal atmosphere.”.
